SIEMENS,
BASF, AND BNL ADOPT CASTIFY EBN FOR CONTENT DELIVERY BEHIND THE
FIREWALL

have chosen
Castify’s EBN platform to manage global content delivery
behind the firewall across their global networks.
Castify’s
EBN platform is the only software platform on the market that allows to
effectively control network performance for heavy video traffic on
global networks.
Siemens,
a company with more than 400,000 employees worldwide has evaluated the
system thoroughly for several months and has compared it against
competitors. It was the system’s proven ability to run in
hundreds of locations worldwide and EBN’s full-featured
functionality that resulted in the decision for Castify EBN.
BASF
decided for Castify EBN for the distribution of video across its
locations and the important point was EBN’s ability to
provide interfaces for internal content producers to self-manage
delivery, effectively releasing dependencies on the IT department for
content management and delivery. BASF-IT runs the EBN system and
manages the global content delivery network and enables content
producers to act independently on top of EBN’s shared
infrastructure.
BNL is
an Italian bank with hundreds of locations around the country and is
Castify’s first customer in Italy. BNL decided for Castify
EBN because of its ability to deliver contents in a hybrid network
setup - via satellite towards its agency network across Italy
– and via terrestrial lines to other locations.
